It costs you nothing extra

How this affects what you read
Commissions fund the running of the site, but they do not decide what appears in it. I am not paid by manufacturers to give favourable reviews, I do not accept free product in exchange for coverage, and no brand has approval over my content before it is published. Where a product has real drawbacks, I say so — you will find a “Cons” or “The Bad” section in most of my reviews for exactly that reason.
That said, you should know that a financial relationship exists, and you are right to read any affiliate-funded recommendation with that in mind. If a review ever reads as though it is selling rather than informing, I would genuinely like to hear about it.
